Hotel Des Artistes has a preferred location in the center of Rome and close to the railway station, tucked away in a quiet side street. The underground station Castro Pretorio is around the corner and Termini central station is a mere 5 minutes on foot. All major sights, museums and shopping areas in Rome can easily be reached on foot or by public transport from the hotel.

Directions from Termini station to the hotel in Rome Des Artistes:

Exit the train station from the side entrance at track no. 1, taking a left onto via Marsala. Then take the first right onto via Vicenza, walk straight for five blocks and turn left into via Villafranca. Hotel Des Artistes is 20 meters ahead on your right.

Directions from Rome Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to the hotel:

From the Arrivals Hall, walk to the train station inside the airport, following the FS sign. A train for Termini Station leaves every 30 minutes on 07 and 37 minutes past the hour. The first morning train leaves at 6.37 am and the last train in the evening is at 11.37 pm. Tickets can be bought from the tobacco shop near the platform and cost 8.80 euro per person. Travel time is about 30 minutes.
If you arrive late in the evening or early in the morning, there is a Cotral bus service from Fiumicino to Tiburtina Station. It leaves at 1.15, 2.15, 3.30 and 5.00 am and the ticket costs 5 euro per person. Please note that Tiburtina station is about 5 km from Termini station.
There also is a Terravision low cost shuttle service from Fiumicino airport to termini station. You can purchase tickets in advance for this service by visiting the Terravizion web site.

Directions from Rome Ciampino Airport to the hotel:

Outside the Arrivals hall, there is a Cotral bus service for Anagnina underground station. From there, take the underground to Termini Station. The first bus leaves at 6.50 am (7.50 am on Sundays and holidays) and the last one leaves at 11.40 pm (10 pm on Sundays and holidays). Tickets can be bought on the bus and cost 1 euro per person. The ticket for the underground costs 1 euro and can be bought inside the station. Travel time is about 40 minutes on the bus and 30 minutes on the underground.

Driving directions from Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to the hotel:

Exit airport by following direction Roma. Take exit that says "Cristoforo Colombo - Roma Centro". Go straight ahead until you arrive at Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano, from there take the Via Merulana until the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, take a right and you will be in front of Termini Station.

Driving directions from Ciampino Airport to the hotel:

Exit airport onto Via Appia (direction centro), take exit number 13 (Tiburtina, direction centro), follow all the way through. You will find yourself on Piazzale del Verano. From there, take Via C. De Lollis. When you see the arches coming up, pass them and take a right onto Viale Castro Pretorio. You are now on the street that goes parallel to Via Villafranca. Turn left onto via Vicenza and the first right onto via Villafranca, Hotel des Artistes will on your right.

Driving directions from Florence to the hotel:

On the motorway towards Rome, take the Exit "Roma Nord", you will be on the Beltway (follow direction Napoli - Tiburtina or Roma - Aquila). Take exit number 13 (Tiburtina, direction centro), follow all the way through. You will find yourself on Piazzale del Verano. From there, take Via C. De Lollis. When you see the arches coming up, pass them and take a right onto Viale Castro Pretorio. You are now on the street that goes parallel to Via Villafranca. Turn left onto via Vicenza and the first right onto via Villafranca, Hotel des Artistes will on your right.
